The launch of the TSUYOSA series was an important collection in CITIZEN's portfolio, as it marked a time when CITIZEN used stainless steel for its models, while many other affordable watches were made of brass. This new TSUYOSA model is the modernized version with a larger case (40 mm), luminous hands and luminous indexes. The 8210 caliber ensures precise timekeeping, while the resistant sapphire glass resists scratches. Many elements of the original watch have been saved, such as the crown, which sits at the 4 o'clock position to keep the slim silhouette of the watch.
